Alcohol research forum soon

More than 200 researchers from around the globe will gather in Melbourne for an event hosted by Turning Point and the Burnet Institute, with studies on alcohol set to be on the agenda.

The 37th Annual Alcohol Epidemiology Symposium of the Kettil Bruun Society will provide a forum where researchers, from 29 countries, involved in studies on alcohol, can exchange ideas about their ongoing research.

Topics to be covered include studies of determinants and consequences of drinking, drinking practices, attitudes and the social and institutional responses to drinking related harms.
