Clinical skills workshops for Victorian AOD workers

Posted on: Friday, 22 December 2017

These clinical skills workshops have been funded by Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for AOD workers and are a series of workshops designed to up skill the AOD workforce in current best practice in Intake and Assessment, Counselling Skills, Group Skills, Recovery Oriented Practice, Co-occurring Disorders and Current Issues in AOD.

These workshops provide an opportunity for current workers in the AOD sector to either learn new skills or consolidate/update existing skills in these areas. Workers will be able to choose whether to attend one or two or more of these workshops depending on their professional development needs and those of the services in which they work.

Who should register? Victorian DHHS funded AOD workers new to their role and/or those looking to refresh and update existing knowledge.
