Insight into inhalant misuse
Tuesday, 03 April 2012
A new book by Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre’s Dr Sarah MacLean is set to help alcohol and other drug workers across the country.
Dr MacLean’s book, Developing an Inhalant Misuse Community Strategy, will give alcohol and other drug workers an insight into inhalant misuse, and ways which the community can tackle the problem.
Inhalant misuse involves breathing vapours from intoxicating substances into the lungs.
The book also includes case studies on how some community groups have approached the issue of inhalant misuse.
It is published by the National Inhalants Information Service.
