Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre has released the latest edition of its Victorian Alcohol Statistics Series.

Previously known as The Victorian Alcohol Statistics Handbook, the statistics are derived from work conducted by Turning Point’s Population Health Research Program and come under the umbrella of the Alcohol Epidemiology Project, which is commissioned by the Victorian Department of Health.

The project’s primary aim is to establish key indicators of alcohol consumption and related harm within the Victorian community, for the purposes of informing future policy, resource allocation, service planning and monitoring.
