“I’d tell anyone I’m an alcoholic before I’d say I’m a gambler”

The hidden and often unspoken link between AOD and gambling addictions.

Wednesday, 18 October 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Three Sides of the Coin will perform a scene that provides insight into the link between AOD and gambling addictions. The people who tell the stories are the people who've been there, they are are on the path of recovery from gambling harm, they are the real people who speak up and act out. This innovative presentation will be followed by break-out discussion groups to explore the ways we might identify the often hidden impacts of gambling on clients. Click here more information about the Three Sides of the Coin project.

“Three Sides of the Coin” project participants with a lived experience of gambling harm, Artistic Director Catherine Simmonds, and Project Coordinator, Judy Avisar.
