Kate is both a clinician and academic whose research and practice specialises in the treatment of addictive behaviours. She leads a clinical research program examining the role of emotion regulation as a transdiagnostic treatment target for young people and is interested in the translation of clinical research in to real world settings. Kate is a Senior Lecturer in Addiction and Mental Health at Deakin University and Senior Clinical Psychologist at YSAS.

Kate’s presentation will outline the development, implementation and evaluation of a telephone delivered structured transdiagnostic intervention for cannabis, amphetamine, alcohol use, anxiety and depression.
