Turning Point on the move

Posted on: Friday, 15 December 2017

Turning Point and Spectrum will commence a new chapter when they move to Richmond in early 2018. From January 2018, both of these Eastern Health services will be located at:

110 Church Street, Richmond, 3121

The new location will bring all of Turning Point’s statewide and national services across the areas of treatment, research and education, together in one building and ensure that we can continue to provide highly quality care, and continue to build our profile as leaders in learning, research and innovation well into the future. Spectrum, the Victorian statewide borderline personality disorder support service which is also part of Eastern Health, will join Turning Point in the new location.

All services, training and events currently offered by Turning Point in Fitzroy and Spectrum in Fitzroy and Ringwood will be transferred to Richmond. There will be no change to current referral processes. Details of all of Turning Point’s dedicated phone and online support services will remain the same. There is no change to services for the eastern region provided from Carrington Road and Wellington House.

Statewide Services Program Director Anthony Denham said that whilst we will say goodbye to Fitzroy with some sadness, the new building has provided the opportunity to significantly improve our treatment rooms, research facilities and training spaces.

“We will remain in a central, easily accessible location, but in a fresh, new environment for our dedicated and passionate staff.

“We look forward to continuing to work with our clients, students, health professionals and the community at our new location; in addition to forming new partnerships as well.”
