Jacqui Cameron

Ms Jacqui Cameron is currently employed as a Research Fellow with the Clinical Research Program at Turning Point Alcohol & Drug Centre having worked primarily in alcohol and drug related research since 2001.

She is an honorary fellow with the Department of General Practice, University of Melbourne and adjunct lecturer with the Eastern Health Clinical School Monash University.

In 2004 she completed a MPhil Social Science Research at the University of Glasgow.

In 2009 she was awarded the inaugural Allens Arthur Robinson Research to Practice fellowship. A core role of this fellowship is to continue the work of the Practice Research Network - previous research that Jacqui was involved in identified an urgent need for AOD workers to address case note recording and management.

She has undertaken a group of related activities during 2009 - 2011 that will result in the development of a best practice guideline that will assist practitioners within the Victorian AOD sector. She is a registered trainer with QSR International.

Ms Cameron is very experienced in the area of team building, training and mentoring. Specifically, she has been an integral part of the development of the mental health stream of the clinical research within the Clinical Research Program, specialising in the development of mixed method projects.

Since joining the Clinical Research Program she has managed multiple mixed-method research projects whilst supervising colleagues in the development of their own research skills.
