The Health Services Research and Evaluation Program strives to improve system-design by contributing to evidence about intervention and service delivery effectiveness within the specialist alcohol & drug sector and allied systems.
Our research involves:
- assessing how programs and systems operate,
- tracking points of entry and pathways through care, and
- examining client outcomes,
- while accounting for the organisational and geographical contexts involved.
We provide suggestions about evidence-informed interventions and system design to support client access to appropriate care within and beyond the alcohol and drug sector.
