The workshop also involves participation in clinical interviews with existing methadone/ buprenorphine patients. This allows for the supervised development and assessment of management strategies for patients using opioids.

The workshop covers the following topics:

  • Drugs, dependence & harm minimisation
  • Treatment Approaches
  • Clinical Assessment of patients using opioids
  • Methadone Maintenance
  • Buprenorphine and buprenorphine/suboxone Maintenance
