Advanced Counselling Stream

Fully Funded Post Graduate Short Course Subjects for AOD Workers in DHS AOD agencies in Victoria.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree.*
Applicants must currently work as an AOD Counsellor for a DHS funded AOD agency.
Applicants must have worked in the AOD sector for at least 3 years.
Applicants must have their organisation support to complete the courses.

* Special entry circumstances may be available to a small number of students who do not meet this criterion

Dates and Locations

Location: The Training Room. Turning Point. 142 Gertrude St. Fitzroy.
(Times for all training days are 9:30am - 4:30pm)

Advanced Interventions: Theory and Practice.	February 11, 12 & 25 March 17 & 31
Applying advanced interventions to AOD work	April 21 & 22 May 5 & 19 June 2

Both subjects in each stream must be taken.

The closing date for application is Friday 16th November 2007
