who have AOD issues
Unit Descriptor This unit applies to the provision of a range of
community services to meet the needs of clients who may have alcohol
and other drug issues. These issues may be combined with other issues.
It also covers the review of client progress and evaluation of all
work undertaken with clients. Service delivery may take place in
a range of settings
Requirements
Recommend successfully completing CHCAOD2C and CHCAOD8C prior
to enrolling in this unit of competency.
Recommend having 12 months workplace experience in alcohol
and drug assessment and individual treatment planning prior
to enrolling.
Recommend workplace mentor to be in place if less than 12
months experience in in alcohol and drug assessment and individual
treatment planning.
Must have to be successfully completed Level
2 First Aid for final result to be issued
Must have to be successfully completed CHCAOD2C
for final result to be issued
