  CHCAOD9C
Provide alcohol and/or other drug withdrawal services
This unit deals with providing support and assistance to people going through the process of withdrawing from alcohol, tobacco or other drugs, including combinations of these.
Withdrawal services may be non-medical or provide pharmacological relief under relevant legislative guidelines. Services may be residential or home-based.

Requirements
  • Recommend successfully completing CHCAOD2C and CHCAOD8C prior to enrolling in this unit of competency.
  • Recommend having 12 months workplace experience in withdrawal services prior to enrolling.
  • Recommend workplace mentor to be in place if less than 12 months experience in withdrawal services.
  • Must have to be successfully completed Level 2 First Aid for final result to be issue
  • Must have to be successfully completed CHCAOD2C for final result to be issued

    • April 24th (Attendance Day 3)
