About the EpiCentre
Turning Point’s EpiCentre consists of a team of epidemiological
researchers with a background in alcohol and drug research,
social sciences and public health. The work of the EpiCentre
has included the establishment of a number of core datasets
relating to the epidemiology of alcohol and other drug use,
and drug-related harm within the Victorian community. These
include survey data, data concerning alcohol sales, hospital
admissions, road accidents, crime, drug-related ambulance
attendances,
and calls to DirectLine, the statewide 24-hour alcohol and
drug telephone counselling and referral service. |
