Turning Point is also currently establishing two specialist methamphetamine centres in Melbourne offering a range of treatment options.

Access Point aims to assist people who have health concerns related to their stimulant use. The centres will be located in Fitzroy and St Kilda.

Access Point's five main priorities are to:

  • Provide people who use methamphetamines and other stimulant drugs with information about their drug use and effective treatment options.
  • Increase community awareness about methamphetamines and related problems such as depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.
  • Develop brief and early intervention programs for methamphetamine users.
  • Improve training and support for GPs and other health professionals working with clients who use methamphetamines.
  • Develop research, education and training opportunities about methamphetamines to inform and improve policy.
