One of Turning Point's key priorities is the
dissemination of our work as widely and as quickly as possible.
The Turning Point Symposium is an itegral part of this.
This year, the Symposium will be held on Friday, 13th August at VicHealth, and it aims to provide the Victorian alcohol and drug sector
with a forum to learn about a wide range of key projects
that are undertaken at Turning Point, as well as at other agencies.
The Symposium provides AOD workers
with an opportunity to engage with colleagues from across the sector, building on research and clinical skills
to inform current practice.
The one-day program includes:
· 10 presentations on a range of key projects relevant
to the Victorian AOD sector
· poster sessions featuring the work of other AOD agencies
· Q&A panel discussion
· lunch, morning and afternoon tea
We invite the AOD sector to submit questions for the Q&A panel.
