Turning Point launches new building

Turning Point has welcomed its move to a new building in the heart of North Richmond with an event attended by more than 100 stakeholders from the addiction field.

Turning Point has welcomed its move to a new building in the heart of North Richmond with an event attended by more than 100 stakeholders from the addiction field. 

Aunty Joy provided a Welcome to Country which was followed by speeches from Eastern Health Board Chair Dr Joanna Flynn, Executive Director Karen Fox and Clinical Director, Turning Point Dan Lubman, Clinical Director, Spectrum Sathya Rao and Program Director, Turning Point Anthony Denham. The ceremony concluded with a symbolic cutting of a ribbon and tours of the site.

Also in attendance was Eastern Health Chief Executive David Plunkett and other members of the Eastern Health Board Dr Peter Dohrmann, Tass Mousaferiadis, Jill Linklater, Professor Pauline Nugent and Joanna Walker and  Eastern Health Executive Directors Zoltan Kokai and Matt Sharp to help us celebrate the occasion. Alongside many of our staff, we also had a large number of people from other organisations and representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services.
