What does Recovery Based Practice mean and what does it look like? Using case studies based on research and lived experience, this seminar will:

  • Compare and contrast definitions of Recovery
  • Provide evidence in support of the concept ‘In Recovery’
  • Examine what it means to work under a Recovery Based Practice umbrella

This DH funded seminar is aimed at AOD Clinicians who want to explore how Recovery oriented practice differs from standard counselling approaches and what a Recovery orientated agency might offer to clients.
