Our Student Open Nights showcase the vast range of educational opportunities in addiction science on offer through Turning Point, from VET through to a PhD. In its inaugural year, the event saw more than 100 attendees touring the site, engaging with and learning about what the centre offers, and how it changes lives and helps to fight stigma in the community each and every day.

Presentation Session: In our Presentation Session, engage with our range of interdisciplinary staff across both education and research, and hear direct from former and current students about how their experiences at Turning Point have shaped their readiness for the workforce.

Information Session: For a personalised one-on-one chat, visit the Information Session to learn more about the range of opportunities on offer, find out how they support your career path in the alcohol, other drugs and addictions sector, and how to navigate the applications process.

Site Tours: For a behind-the-scenes look at the work that Turning Point does, sign up for one of four Site Tours available across the evening. Learn more about how Turning Point engages in work across each of the clinical, research, and education spaces, as well as its 24/7 phone and digital support services.

If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully, please let us know when you RSVP to ensure that we can arrange any reasonable adjustments. Please note: the venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids.

By attending this event you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
