Education and Training Officer – Internship Coordinator, Turning Point

Background

Working for the UK National Health Service as a graduate psychotherapist specialising in Dual Diagnosis before immigrating to Australia in 2013, I’ve since explored my passion for translating research into accessible educational experiences. I entered the AOD workforce as a Needle Exchange volunteer, then worked closely with GPs to prescribe pharmacotherapy and develop holistic harm reduction packages for clients experiencing opioid, alcohol and benzodiazepine dependency.

What I like most about my job is creating engaging and transformative programs for our Interns.
