Ineke is a researcher in the Clinical and Social Research team, working on projects evaluating the efficacy of Turning Point’s telephone and online treatment and support services.
Background
Ineke completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology before working in various communications and data assurance roles. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Human Services from Latrobe University and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Monash University.
Research Interests
Ineke’s research interests include:
- Alcohol and other drugs harm minimisation
- The effects of brief interventions on harm reduction, help-seeking behaviour and recovery from addiction
- Neurobiological drivers in addiction and recovery
- Evidence-based treatment approaches for substance and behavioural addictions
- Mixed methods research
