Overview
Rachel is working on various projects including the Nicotine as Treatment (NEAT) Trial – an NHMRC funded trial to test the effectiveness of vaporised nicotine products and Quitline telephone counselling compared to nicotine replacement therapy and Quitline counselling in helping clients cease smoking.
Background
Rachel completed her Honours in Psychology in 2020 at Monash University. Her honours research project evaluated the acceptability of different treatment modalities (lifestyle medicine, psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy) for treating mental illness. Rachel has volunteer experience in compulsive behaviour research and in a needle syringe program.
