Lecturer (Education Focused) Addictive Behaviours, Turning Point and Monash University

Overview

Siegfried is a lecturer for the graduate programs in Addictive Behaviours, which are three fully online courses that are offered in partnership with Monash University and Turning Point. The Graduate Certificate of Addictive Behaviours is a one-year part time course. Students can also undertake the Graduate Diploma of Addictive Behaviours which is a two-your part time course. The Expert Master course has two entry levels; level 1 is a three-year part time course and level 2 is a two-year part-time course which has employment and minimum Postgraduate requirements associated with acceptance.

Background

Siegfried is an experienced educator at all levels of higher education as well as community adult education. Siegfried is also a subject matter expert on the prevention and response to sexual assault and sexual harassment in the Australian higher education sector.

Siegfried holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and a Master in Social Science. 

Research Interests

Siegfried’s interest areas are in student focused education and the validation of assessment tools used to admit students to health professional courses.
