Overview

Turning Point is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6948) and provides competency-based training and assessment opportunities to the Victorian AOD workforce.

This training is targeted at new employees to the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector, currently employed in Department of Health (DH) funded AOD services.

Turning Point staff conducting the AOD competencies have both AOD experience and meet the training and assessment requirements as outlined in the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

Before you register in the training and assessment, please consider:
 
We recognise it’s easy to register for training but often hard to turn up. There are limited spaces available (maximum is 26). If your circumstances change please cancel your registration by emailing [email protected] and make your spot available to someone else.

Selection Criteria

To enrol in a unit of competency you must work in a publicly funded organisation in the Victorian Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector in an AOD role, and be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen.

Cost

There is no cost to complete units of competency if you meet the selection criteria.
