Overview
Emily is a research assistant in the Clinical and Social Research team at Turning Point. She is working on projects that are investigating areas such as better responses to drug offences and people’s experiences of drug driving.
Background
Emily has completed a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Psychology and minoring in He Kura Matanui/Indigenous Development), a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health (endorsed in Public Policy and Health), and Honours in Psychology from the University of Otago. Her honours research was a qualitative study that explored the relationship between transport and mental health for young New Zealanders. Emily has also worked as a child and youth support worker in mental health and disability.
