Senior Lecturer, Graduate Program of Addictive Behaviours, Turning Point and Monash University
Overview
Siegfried is a Senior Lecturer for the Graduate Program of Addictive Behaviours, which comprises of three fully online courses that are offered in partnership with Monash University and Turning Point. Siegfried is the Chief Examiner for the Post Graduate Certificate in Addictive Behaviours and the Unit Coordinator for ASC5001. Siegfried is also closely involved with the ongoing course review and refinement.
Background
Siegfried is an experienced educator at all levels of higher education as well as community adult education. Siegfried is also a subject matter expert on the prevention and response to sexual assault and sexual harassment in the Australian higher education sector.
Siegfried holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and a Master in Social Science and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) in recognition of his ongoing contribution to higher education. He also has a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Skill Set.
Research Interests
Siegfried’s interest areas are in student focused education and the validation of assessment tools used to admit students to health professional courses.
