Connect & Learn:Escape the Vape - Supporting young people to quit vapes, presented by Dr Bronwyn Milne & Mary Wahhab on the 28th March 2023
The presentation will focus on clinical engagement supporting adolescents quit vapes, including assessment and management of nicotine dependence using the 5As brief intervention framework.
Objective
- Increase understanding of what e-cigarettes are
- Become familiar with clinical tools to screen and assess for nicotine dependence
- Supporting adolescents and young people to quit the vapes

Dr Bronwyn Milne is a Paediatrician, Addiction Medicine Specialist and Staff Specialist in Adolescent Medicine at the Sydney children’s Hospital Network
