Moderated by prominent Australian and Executive Director of Change.org, Sally Rugg, the event will be a fascinating discussion on the making of the 'Addicted Australia' documentary, the treatment program, alcohol in the bush, and what Australia needs to do next to Rethink Addiction.

Joining Sally on stage is Professor Dan Lubman AM, Executive Clinical Director at Turning Point, Jacob Hickey, Addicted Australia producer and Head of Factual at Blackfella Films, Shanna Whan, CEO of Sober in the Country, and former AFL footballer and premiership player, Dayne Beams.

The event will be held at The Edge, Federation Square from 6pm-8pm and includes canapés and drinks (no alcohol) on arrival.

Tickets are just $30 and can be purchased here.

What is Rethink Addiction?

Rethink Addiction is a national campaign dedicated to educating and advocating for the need to change Australia’s attitude and approach to addiction. The campaign is backed by over 40 organisations, including Turning Point.

Our mission is to change the conversation about addiction and tackle the stigma and misinformation that stops people from asking for help. Together, we want to bring about systemic change to the treatment of addiction.
