Kirsten leads the postgraduate suite in Addictive Behaviours, overseeing curriculum design, delivery, and strategic development. She is a nationally recognised education leader and Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE (SFHEA), driving innovation in assessment and student-centred learning.

Background

Kirsten holds a PhD in Environmental Biotechnology, MBA, BAppSci, GradCertHPE, and GradCertHE. She has over 20 years of experience in higher education, with expertise in curriculum transformation, online learning, and authentic assessment. Her leadership has earned multiple awards, including the Australian Award for University Teaching.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on programmatic and authentic assessment, student engagement, and strategic curriculum design. She supervises Master-level research and collaborates on pedagogical research projects.
