Overview

Georgia is a Research Assistant working within the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit at Turning Point, having joined the team in March 2025. In her role, she reviews ambulance case notes and codes any relations to addiction or mental health. Georgia has always had a strong interest in research. She was previously studying a Bachelor of Health Science however due to family commitments has had to put a pause on studying. 

Background

Georgia is an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, having worked on and off as a nurse for six years. She has worked in general medical and surgical nursing but also community mental health.

Georgia holds a Diploma of Health Science, with a goal to complete her Bachelor in coming years.
