Associate Program Director, Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services
Overview
Julie oversees Turning Point’s Eastern Treatment Services program that provides a range of services including, residential detox and short-stay rehabilitation, intake, counselling and care coordination.
She also supports the Turning Point Lived Experience program and is passionate about ensuring that our services provide peer support and are informed by Lived Experience voices.
Background
Julie has foundation training as a Social Worker and Family Therapist and 30 years’ experience as a clinician and leader in mental health, family violence, community engagement, sexual assault and youth services across the community and public health and hospital settings.
Research interests
Julie is interested in research that supports treatment uptake and engagement and enhances treatment outcomes.
