Reaching Out

Reaching Out is based at Turning Point’s Richmond clinic. Skilled alcohol and other drug (AOD) clinicians provide culturally sensitive assessment and AOD treatment and support, via an assertive outreach model. There is assistance to access detox, rehabilitation admissions and an individualised treatment journey. We use interpreters confidently. Reaching Out clinicians also work with their clients families as needed.

Reaching Out provides secondary consultations to other AOD services, health professionals and Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) organisations on culturally sensitive AOD treatment. The program provides AOD education to CALD community groups as requested.
